About The Author

Tina Field Howe lives in Corning, New York. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology/Art. She has been writing for most of her life, splitting her writing time between creative and business writing, web content, marketing materials and the like. Tina puts her many and varied life experiences to good use in her writing. She lends many of her passions, opinions, perspectives and learnings to her science fiction/fantasy characters. In addition, Tina also writes poetry and screenplays and is an avid illustrator.

Her writing philosophy embraces writing from one's own experience, coupled with imagination and the goal of captivating her readers. Comments made by readers of her Xunar-kun series, as well as lots of other information about her books, can be found on the books' web site.

Tina works with writers of all ages, from the very young to "grandparents." Her teaching philosophy is simple: no matter a person's age, she believes that everyone has amazing stories from their own experience which can be given life through creative writing.
